EFEC Hub — Principal Strategic Advisor

Professor Keith Jackson is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Director with over forty years of experience in British manufacturing, international trade, and business leadership. He brings to the EFEC Hub deep expertise in MedTech scale-up, operational governance, and delivery discipline — particularly in translating innovation into sustained, real-world performance.

Keith has led multi-award-winning MedTech companies, designing, manufacturing, and exporting healthcare technologies to more than 70 countries. His career has involved navigating complex regulatory environments, scaling operations internationally, and building high-trust commercial relationships across Asia and China. This practical experience informs his perspective on what credible organisational readiness looks like in practice.

As The Master Cutler for 2025–2026, Keith champions international trade, education, and healthcare at senior levels. A former Non-Executive Director of Medilink, he continues to advise scaling life sciences businesses on internationalisation, leadership, and operational resilience. He also serves as Non-Executive Chair and Director for high-growth SMEs, including on an international board in Hong Kong.

At the EFEC Hub, Keith advises on strengthening governance standards and ensuring that readiness frameworks reflect the realities of senior UK MedTech operators. His role is focused on maintaining practical rigour and delivery credibility as the Hub develops its UK-based pilot work.
